Today I am pleased to announce the new DNSFilter OEM Partner Program and invite ISPs, security vendors, device makers, and consumer app developers to embed our protective DNS, VPN, and content filtering directly into their own products, under their own brand. In fact, some well-known companies, including eero, an Amazon subsidiary that is one of the most popular consumer mesh Wi-Fi brands, and Brave, a popular privacy-focused browser company, already embed our technology today.

If you have been looking for a DNS protection layer you can trust and build on, this is for you. So while this is not a new idea for us, it is a new chapter with more defined support, SDK infrastructure, commercial incentives, and product roadmap resources. What is changing is that we are opening it up and formalizing the path for the next wave of partners to build on the same engine.

Why We’re Doing This Now

I have spent much of my career licensing security technology to OEMs, MSSPs, cloud providers, resellers, and technology partners, and the pattern rarely changes: Partners want proven technology they can make their own, without having to rebuild it from the ground up. Building that layer well takes time, not to mention is much more successful if you already have proprietary threat intelligence and a global network.

For many years, we’ve had companies turn to us for best-in-class DNS threat protection, domain analysis, and privacy solutions. Their teams would rather spend engineering hours on the product their customers actually see.

So rather than keep our capabilities behind a handful of private integrations, we decided to package it, document it, and put it in developers’ hands. This latest expansion of our go-to-market partnerships is about changing where protection shows up in the world.

We’ve spent years building a DNS protection layer they can trust and build upon, and now we’re making it available to more ISP, device manufacturers, and security vendor partners at scale.

Two Ways to Embed

The program is built around two products, with partners invited to choose one or bundling them together if that fits their go-to-market needs.

DNSFilter Protective DNS is the core of what we do: DNS-layer filtering, globally distributed and API-driven. Every domain lookup becomes a security decision. Malicious domains are stopped before a connection opens, with no endpoint agent required and no traffic rerouted through a proxy. Good domains resolve as usual, with no latency to your end customer.

Your team integrates by API or headless resolver. Your users see your brand, and the engine stays invisible by design. This path fits browsers, enterprise software, remote clients, SaaS platforms, and any product where security belongs in the infrastructure layer and not the interface.

Guardian Firewall + VPN encrypts all device traffic and routes it through a trusted endpoint, delivering DNS privacy and threat blocking out of the box. It is already running at consumer scale, protecting millions of devices around the world, including those on Amazon’s eero networks.

Our native Guardian SDK brings foundational Guardian Firewall and VPN technology to iOS, macOS, tvOS, Android, FireOS, and Windows, with servers in over 50 countries. This path fits device makers, CPE manufacturers, and consumer-facing products where privacy is a feature your users want to see and trust.

Three Ways to Go to Market

We know embedding a security layer is as much a commercial decision as a technical one, so the program offers three models with no platform lock-in. Whichever model you choose, integrations block threats from day one.

  • Resell and bundle: Package our protection alongside your offering and take it to market as part of your stack.
  • Embedded: Run the engine underneath your product, invisible to the end user.
  • White-label co-brand: Ship under your own brand, purpose-built for ISPs and MSSPs.

Proven at Consumer Scale

When you embed a security layer, you inherit its infrastructure. Here is what you inherit with DNSFilter:

  • 200B+ queries per day
  • 235M threats blocked per day
  • 225+ servers across 85+ countries
  • Infrastructure that already supports 65M+ daily users

The technology our OEM partners have access to is built on more than a decade of AI and human threat intelligence, backed by 99.99% uptime and SOC 2 certified.

Start in a Sandbox, Not a Procurement Cycle

Through the years, our partners have told us the fastest way to earn their trust was to put the platform in their developers’ hands and get out of the way. When a developer can spin up a sandbox, write a policy, and see a real threat blocked, that’s when trust moves from the sales team to the engineering team.

That belief shaped the entire program. Rather than navigating a lengthy procurement process before writing a line of code, developers can access a dedicated SDK and a sandbox environment, run their first privacy block in minutes, and build from there. The SDK is designed to compress the time from interest to integration, and it supports all major platforms.
