Our SSO feature enables you to securely access your account with a single click by taking advantage of third-party identity providers like Okta and Azure AD that support the OpenID Connect protocol (OIDC).

OIDC is an identity layer built on top of OAuth 2.0 that helps authenticate and authorize users. It does this by allowing client applications to confirm an end user’s identity using authentication by an authorization server.

Getting started with SSO

Setting up SSO on DNSFilter is straightforward.

Account owners can simply enter their OAuth 2.0 credentials from an IdP in the Single Sign-On section of the Settings page of their DNSFilter account. Once the values have been entered correctly, SSO can be turned on.
